Chapter #49 est. 2018
HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED
It didn’t take us long to meet each other after moving to the Southern Okanagan, with our love for “Bikes, Bikers & Jesus”. By the summer of 2014 there were 7 active CMA members in the Summerland area enjoying local rides and the fellowship with each other. This continued for a couple of years as we build relationships with each other. In October of 2017 it became obvious there was enough interest to start a CMA Chapter in the Southern Interior when approximately 20 Christian riders showed up at a rendezvous in Vernon from towns and cities such as Kamloops, Armstrong, Vernon, Kelowna, Westbank, and Summerland. We had all been called “according to his purpose”. But the main question of the day was.. “how could we possibly work together for ministry while living so far apart?”
Our first video conference was held on November 4th , 2017 when CMA members from Summerland and Kamloops scheduled a Skype meeting. Despite the challenges of everyone connecting this way, we were excited to see how video conferencing could work to bring us all closer together… despite the distances. We realized that our ministry would be very different than typical CMA Chapters who focus their activities in large cities. Instead we would be establishing a Regional Chapter, where members would use their talents and experiences to support each other bringing Jesus to the motorcycle community through out a much larger area with our widely dispersed membership. We recognized that God had orchestrated a very dynamic team of evangelists at all stages of maturity and having widely varied testimonies.
By the time we received our Charter on July 14th, 2018 there were 15 members of CMA forming Southern Interior Christian Riders. Since then, we have grown to over 30 members.
Having moved from using Skype to now Zoom. Our membership extends from Prince George , Clearwater, Logan Lake and Kamloops,, then Vernon, Kelowna, Summerland, Oliver and then over to the Kootenays,, .. all eager to meet you.
Ride cards (paper & digital), our Facebook page and an updating calendar helping us to share what is going on in our region .
Blessing of the Bikes: An opportunity for us to pray with a motorcyclist for safety during the riding season and any needs that he/she may have.
We will perform these blessings for any number of bikes. From 1-100.
Would this be something you would be interested in?
Just let us know, we'll make it happen

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life.
I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself.
No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking.
By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation.
I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth.
I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross
for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day.
Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true.
Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior.
Amen.
About prayer
Prayer is so important and more than ever people are in need.
Everywhere we go, people are hurting….
Prayer is talking to God, He not only listens but He always answers prayer! Sometimes He says Yes, He can say No, or He can say wait….But He always answers and sometimes not the way we would like, but “ His ways are higher than our ways”, He has the big picture in mind…
If you would like us to pray for you
